Functional outcome: Say a few things you do and ask a simple yes/no question.
This is a beginner-controlled Eastern Armenian lesson, not a proficiency guarantee. Read the Armenian first; the phonetic cues are approximate aids, not IPA or native-speaker validation.

| sentence | Առավոտյան սուրճ եմ խմում։ | In the morning I drink coffee. | a-rra-vo-TYAN soorch em khə-MOOM. |
| sentence | Ես աշխատում եմ։ | I work. | yes ash-kha-TOOM em. |
| sentence | Ես գնում եմ տուն։ | I go home. | yes gə-NOOM em toon. |
| sentence | Այսօր ազատ եմ, սուրճ եմ ուզում։ | I am free today; I want coffee. | ay-SOR a-ZAT em, soorch em oo-ZOOM. |
| sentence | Դու աշխատո՞ւմ ես այսօր։ | Do you work today? | doo ash-kha-TOOM es ay-SOR? |
Present actions commonly use a verb form in -ում plus an auxiliary: աշխատում եմ = I work/am working; գնում եմ = I go/am going. With դու, use ես (es): Դու աշխատում ես. A neutral yes/no question can keep the word order and change intonation: Դու աշխատո՞ւմ ես։ The Armenian question mark sits on the relevant vowel, not necessarily on the last word.
Read for meaning first. Then cover the English and try the exchange.

Describe today in two short sentences: one routine and one destination/status. Ask a partner one yes/no question. Repair: if you omit եմ, add it, then say a new sentence with սուրճ or տուն.
Make your first attempt without copying the dialogue. If one phrase fails, isolate that phrase, compare it with the Learn table, say/write it once in a new context, then repeat the whole task. Do not mark it “known” merely because it was visible.
Before the next lesson, reuse one earlier greeting, one courtesy phrase, and one previous task phrase in a new two-line exchange.
